The Halloween episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3 will showcase the scariest story of all — Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) never met.

TVLine showed an exclusive teaser for episode 15 titled "Girl Meets World of Terror 3," which begins with the narration from Auggie (August Maturo), the adorable but spooky ghost.

Auggie introduced a story wherein best friends Riley and Maya never had a chance to meet each other when they were younger.

In Auggie's tale, the bubbly and cheerful Riley became too busy playing with her stuffed animal to notice that Maya was knocking on her bedroom window. After a while, Maya decided to leave. This means that the two never got the chance to meet each other and become friends.

As the two grow up, Riley remained jolly and hyper. She also continued being friends with her stuffed animal, up to the point of bringing it in school. On the other hand, Maya looked gloomy and withdrawn. The two does not seem to care about each other.

An extended trailer was also released by Disney Channel, which showed that Lucas (Peyton Meyer) will be an outsider, while Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) will continue being his annoying self.

The Halloween episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3 is expected to air on Friday, Oct. 14.

Meanwhile, fans of the "Boy Meets World" spin-off series are still waiting to hear about its fate after the finale of season 3. Several reports claimed that the show might be in danger of cancellation because it is gearing towards more mature topics now that the characters are already in their teens.

However, fans are hoping that "Girl Meets World" will get picked up by other networks like Freeform for its fourth season.

At the moment, Disney Channel remains mum about their decision.
