Give to YWAM England's Pakistan Quake appeal

“The walls shook, the children screamed, we ran for our lives, gathering the orphans from every corner of the building. Outside everyone was terrified, the noise of shaking mountains and scared people was unforgettable” Christian leaders in northern Pakistan.

YWAM has been working from the UK into Pakistan for ten years, investing in the lives of local leaders. One of these couples runs a residential child support centre. They miraculously survived the quake. The building now shelters as many terrified children as can squeeze within its walls to escape the rain and freezing cold.

In spite of the devastation, amazingly we are still able to talk to them by ’phone. As a result, our team in Pakistan can plan their response in minutest detail. The local workers there are already buying blankets, cooking equipment, and medicines and transporting them in fully-loaded vehicles north into the affected areas of north of Islamabad, namely, Mansehra, Abbotabad, and Balakot.
