The two-part series finale of "Glee" will be aired next week, which means that fans of the hit musical comedy-drama series only have a few days left before saying their final goodbyes to the show.
Information about the plots of the back-to-back series finale is relatively scarce, but spoilers claim that the last two episodes will feature flashbacks and time jump elements. However, there are no details given about what sequences will be included in the flashbacks. Some are guessing that character Finn Hudson, portrayed by late actor Cory Monteith, will be included in it to pay homage to one of the original characters of "Glee."
Dot-Marie Jones, the actor who portrayed the role of Shannon/Sheldon Beiste in the hit Fox TV series, told PEOPLE about how she and the rest of the cast dealt with the final shooting days in the "Glee" set.
The last day of shooting on the set "was horrible," Jones said. "It was wonderful and sad all at the same time, because of everything we've accomplished."
She also mentioned that the cast and crew were highly emotional during the end of the filming day, crying and hugging each other since they all worked together for several years. And just like what the other cast members did at the end of the filming for the last two episodes, Jones also took one item from the set as a souvenir for working on the musical series.
If Lea Michele brought home the framed football jersey that her late boyfriend Cory Monteith wore when he was portraying the role of Finn Hudson in the series, Jones took the ring that her character owned.
"He had this huge ring – I believe the guys that made the Super Bowl rings made this one," she shared. "It says 'Beiste' on the side of it and 'Shannon Beiste' inscribed on the inside. I loved that thing from the first day I got it."
Both "Glee" season 6 episodes, titled "2009" and "Dreams Come True," will air on March 20.
