A 2-hour special episode will be aired to mark "Glee's" return on screen for its sixth and final season.

The original cast of the musical comedy-drama series will be united once again during the first episode, dubbed as "Lose Like Me." The episode focuses on Rachel Berry's (Lea Michele) return to Lima, Ohio's McKinley High after her unsuccessful stint as an actress in Broadway. Since she has nowhere else to go, Rachel decides to come home. Unfortunately, things are not the same. Her dad has decided to file for divorce, while the home she grew up in is being sold. Worse, the glee club where she and her friends used to perform had been disbanded by the ever-ruthless Principal Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). 

Determined to bring back the old glory of the club, Rachel calls other original members of McKinley High's New Directions, including Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer), Noah "Puck" Puckerman (Mark Salling), Quinn Fabray (Diana Agron), Marcedes Jones (Amber Riley), Brittany S. Pears (Heather Morris), Tina Cohen-Chang (Jenna Ushkowitz), and Artie Abrams (Kevin McHale), for help. 

The group's collective efforts will be the focus of the show's second episode, which is titled "Homecoming."

Meanwhile, Becky Jackson (Lauren Potter) will also be featured in "Glee" season 6. This time, Principal Sue's favorite student makes her anxious because of her new boyfriend. 

The synopsis for that episode, titled "Jagged Little Tapestry," reads: "Rachel and Kurt struggle as they try to rebuild and co-direct the glee club at McKinley. Meanwhile, Sue is concerned when Becky brings her new boyfriend." 

Could this mean that Becky's still undisclosed boyfriend is a bad boy?

Becky's character is one of the most loved in the entire run of "Glee." She is the only one who can stand being with Coach Sue for a long time. She is someone who is too adorable to hate.

"Glee" season 6 returns on Jan. 9.
