Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Heather Morris (Britanny) are set to reprise their roles in the sixth and final season of "Glee."

Sam, it seems, will play a bigger role than usual.  Reports claim that he will not only be the assistant coach for the football team, making him and Rachel (Lea Michele) co-teachers in McKinley High, but that he will also greatly help in rekindling the romance between Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer). 

Fans will recall that Blaine and Kurt broke up between seasons 5 and 6. But the news that all former members of the glee club are back in town will give them the chance to see each other.  Many viewers would want to see the two back together again, but it remains to be seen whether they still want to rekindle their romance or not.

Meanwhile, reports say that there will be more events happening between Brittany and her former girlfriend Santana (Naya Rivera). Rumors state that the two will be engaged next season and the series is expected to end with a wedding.

It was initially reported that Morris would not be part of the regular cast.  Nonetheless, the actress posted a tweet saying that she is working with her co-star Kevin McHale (Artie), although the actress did not specify what particular scenes the two are working on.

Although the final season of "Glee" will reportedly have shorter episodes than usual, the show is expected to bid its goodbye on a high note as the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, confirmed that the show will try to give everything that the loyal fans want.

Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Matthew Morrison (Will), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Mark Salling (Puck), and Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) will also appear next season. "Glee" season 6 will be back on air in spring of 2015.
