The sixth and final season of "Glee" will be the most nostalgic season in the show's history, according to Breathecast citing show's co-creator Ryan Murphy.

Fox Network's "Glee" aims to end the series on a high note as the series will air its final season in Spring 2015. Since the series first aired in 2009, a lot of things happened, including the shocking and untimely death of the actor Cory Monteith. Ryan Murphy said that season 6 will be the most nostalgic for cast and crew members. The report said that "Glee's" characters Rachel Berry and the rest of the Glee Club members will walk down memory lane and will trace the roots and origins of their achievements and struggles.

The report added that "Glee's" production team has not decided for the final location for Season 6, but Ryan Murphy confirmed that the final season will not be shot in New York. Based on the most previous season of "Glee," there will be a few scenes needed to be shot in in McKinley high school. However, the show's final season will follow Rachel's career path to Los Angeles, for her first TV appearance.

Gleeks are all looking forward to the big reunion of the series' regulars and original cast. Murphy also confirmed that the "Glee" season 6 will be dedicated to all of the actors who have become a part of the show. He also said that the production team reached out to all of the regulars of the show, which includes the original group of glee club members and teachers, and anyone who wants to come back. He added that everyone who wants to take part of the final season of the series is welcome.

Meanwhile, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, who appeared in the past three seasons, said that she wanted to return to the show for its final season. "We've been talking back and forth, I'm hoping to be back. I've done it for three seasons. I'm happy to go there, I love the cast, I love Ryan Murphy, I'm happy to go back," she told Entertainment Weekly.
