On Twitter, "God of War 4" director Cory Barlog talked about the current status of the game's development. He said that everything is "going well" despite the whole experience being a "daily emotional meat grinder." Regardless, his perspective toward the forthcoming title is quite positive.

It is worth noting that Sony has already iterated in the past that they do not plan on revealing any core information about the game. There are rumors and leaks about "God of War 4" being released sometime in September. Reports have it that a Portuguese game retailer listed the said month as the title's launch date.
