However, fans are more excited to hear the name of Thor, the God of Thunder, in the video. According to the video, Thamur and Thor engaged in a battle and resulted in the death of the stone mason. The video also mentioned Thor's "Campaign of Destruction" against Thamur and the people of Jotunheimr.

In a wish list published by WhatCulture, fans are hoping for Thor to be one of the main antagonist in the upcoming game. People are also urging well-known Norse Gods like Loki and Odin. The latest trailer indicates that Thor might be part of the story but the level of his character is not yet established. With its release date closing in, fans are still asking for more updates about the game. The official release date for "God of War" has yet to be announced by either Sony or Santa Monica Studio. "God of War" is one of the most anticipated games of 2018.
