Fans of the Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day are excited about the band's upcoming album, titled "God's Favorite Band." The album, composed of 20 of Green Day's greatest hits and two brand-new tracks, is scheduled to be released on Friday, Nov. 17.

The band announced the album in a Twitter post last October. The album will feature Green Day's old songs like "Wake Me Up When September Ends," "21 Guns," "American Idiot," "She," among others. Green Day also collaborated with singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert for their revised version of "Ordinary World."

This is not the first time that Lambert and Green Day have worked together. Green Day's vocalist Billie Armstrong and Lambert took to the stage during the 2014 Grammy Awards and serenaded the crowd with Linda Ronstadt's "When Will I Be Loved."

The other new track in the album is called "Back in the USA." According to their Twitter post, the album will also feature a new music video.

The band is still in the middle of their South America tour. Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool won't be in the United States during the release of their album. The band will be performing live at the Simon Bolivar Park in Bogota, Colombia on the same day.

People who pre-order the album ahead its release will receive the CD and Vinyl bundles. The package includes the album, t-shirts, candles and a vinyl copy of "God's Favorite Band."

This will be Green Day's second greatest hits compilation album. Their first one titled "International Superhits!" was released way back on Nov. 13, 2001.

Their most recent album before "God's Favorite Band" is "Revolution Radio" with 12 songs.

There is still no news if the band will be working on a new album with new songs. No updates so far on Green Day's agenda for 2018.
