Reverend Franklin Graham is expressing concern for future generations since society is currently weighed down by moral, economic, and political crises. Moreover, many "voices" have unfortunately distorted the teachings of Jesus Christ.

"What hope is there for future generations? It seems that wherever you look both here at home and around the world, storms are brewing. The only hope is in Jesus Christ," he wrote in an article for Charisma News. "The rapid moral decline we are seeing around us should be a clarion call for every Christian to speak out for biblical truth and to be diligent in sharing the hope of the gospel."

Graham said in America alone, there has never been a greater need for a clear proclamation of the Gospel, especially since "God's Word has been diluted by false teaching."

He said he is more committed than ever to take the Gospel to cities across America and around the world. He is asking for prayers as he goes to Birmingham, Oklahoma, and a dozen more cities in the coming weeks.

"We are counting on your prayers for the Holy Spirit to move in hearts," he said. "This year we have already held 18 evangelistic crusades, preaching the life-changing message of salvation on four continents, and we still have a busy schedule for the remainder of 2015—culminating this November in Tokyo, the largest city in the world."

Graham said the Christian population is less than 3 percent in Japan, where many people have placed their faith in the yen and adopted Western culture of materialism. However, they are left feeling empty and cold.

"Materialism has become rampant, suicide is now epidemic among young people, and the nation's crime rate is rising dramatically," he said. "This will mark my fourth time to preach in Japan—pray with me that many will turn in repentance and faith and respond to God's offer of salvation."
