Golden Globe winner Michelle Williams just confirmed that she will be part of the upcoming Marvel film "Venom." Williams will join actor Tom Hardy in the movie as Ann Weying.

The "All the Money in the World" star confirmed her involvement in the film during an interview with Screen Rant. When asked about her upcoming movies, Williams mentioned that she is having a great experience working for the Marvel film with the other cast like Hardy and Woody Harrelson. "We're having fun," Williams said.

The actress also grabbed the chance to praise Hardy's charisma and his influence in the movie. When asked by the publication about the most exciting part of the movie, Williams answered, "for me it's Tom (Tom Hardy)." She added, "I just thought, well, that guy knows what he's doing. I'm just going to steal some of his moves, figure out what he knows."

Williams did not disclose much information about her character. Ann Weying, based on the comics, is Eddie Brock's (Tom Hardy) former lover and is also known as She-Venom. Weying in the Marvel Comics Universe briefly makes use of the Venom suit that turns her into Symbiote. Weying is also killed in the comics by the serial killer Sin-Eater.

There are still no reveals from the show's producer and director Ruben Fleischer if Weying will be seen in the movie wearing the Venom Symbiote.

The movie "Venom" is set to be released Oct. 5 2018 as announced by Sony Pictures. Production already started during the fall season this year.

Meanwhile, Williams is in the middle of celebrating her Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the 2017 film "All the Money in the World." Williams is up for the category of Best Actress in a Drama film. The actress is going up against talented actresses Jessica Chastain, Sally Hawkins, Frances McDormand, and Meryl Streep.
