The Golden State Warriors have just signed free agent forward Davis West. Speculations suggest that next on the team's list may be center Larry Sanders.

According to Sports Illustrated, there are rumors that Sanders may be considering selecting between the two powerhouses last season, the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. Reportedly, Sanders has been sending cryptic teases on his social media accounts pointing to the two teams.

However, as for the GSW, the management has confirmed that it has not yet discussed an option for the veteran center.

Sanders last played for the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2014-2015 season, but has been bought out by the franchise for allegedly violating the league's anti-drug policy. He has also sought out a respite in playing for the Bucks due to personal issues. However, the center still has a continued buyout agreement with the Bucks until the 2021-2022 NBA season, for $1,865,547.

Meanwhile, signing up forward Davis West may prove to be a blessing for the Warriors. It has been reported that team forward Draymond Green currently faces assault charges in Michigan.

ESPN reports that Green has already posted a $200 bond, and is scheduled for arraignment on July 20. Conviction on the case will net Green with a $500 fine and prison time of up to 93 days.

The GSW said it is already aware of the altercation.

"At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation," the team said. Meanwhile, USA Basketball managing director Jerry Colangelo stated, "We are still awaiting details. No comment at this time."

Green had sporadic successes with the GSW in their championship run last season. He missed the crucial Game 5 of the Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers owing to an accumulation of flagrant fouls.
