There may be doubts for the Golden State Warriors entering the season but all of those are being shot down by the defending champions who are still undefeated in seven games this 2015–16 season.

Recent victims of the Warriors' barrage were the Sacramento Kings who fell last Saturday 103–94, absorbing their fifth consecutive defeat.

Leading the way for Golden State was no other than reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) Stephen Curry who continues to be a part of record books with his offensive performance this season.

Against the Kings, Curry tallied 24 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals in a team-leading 39 minutes played.

Despite another standout performance, Curry struggled with his shooting going 8 of 18 from the field, including 2 of 10 from the three-point area.

But the 27-year-old remained positive and said, according to the Associated Press, "Never too high, never too low; that's my motto. I'm not expecting to shoot lights out every game."

It was not just Curry as the four other members of the starting lineup also scored in double-digits last Saturday.

Following the 27-year-old MVP is his Splash brother Klay Thompson who had 18 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one block.

Along with Curry and the starters who went offensively against the Kings, last season's Finals MVP Andre Iguodala also shone having 14 points, six rebounds, four assists, and four steals off the bench.

The win improved the Warriors' record to 7–0 as they are on the right path in their goal of defending the championship.

Next challengers of the streak will be the boys from Motor City the Detroit Pistons who are thriving this season at 5–1 and are riding a two-game winning streak.

The Pistons are coming off a huge 120–103 victory over Western Conference contenders the Portland Trail Blazers who are also doing well and are on a three-game winning streak before the defeat.
