Two of Golden State Warriors' brightest stars, reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) Stephen Curry and prolific scorer Klay Thompson, are foes when the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest commence in the All-Star Weekend.

Curry, the reigning three-point contest champion, will defend the title against a band of tough contenders which includes his Splash Brother, Thompson.

In last year's three-point contest, Curry had to go through Thompson and the Cleveland Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving in the final round to bag home the trophy, which was only his first.

This time around, it will not be easier for the Warriors duo since the other competitors are All-Star players which makes the contest more exciting.

According to ESPN, along with Curry and Thompson, trying their luck in the shooting exhibition are the Los Angeles Clippers J.J. Redick, Milwaukee Bucks' Khris Middleton, Houston Rockets' James Harden, Miami Heat's Chris Bosh, Toronto Raptors' Kyle Lowry, and Phoenix Suns rookie Devin Booker.

Aside from the three-point contest, Curry, Thompson, Harden, Bosh, and Lowry are also going to represent their respective conferences in the 2016 All-Star Game.

Curry (West) and Lowry (East) were voted as starters, while Thompson and Harden are part of the reserves for the West, same with Bosh in the East.

The Foot Locker Three-Point Contest will take place during the second day (Feb. 13) of the All-Star Weekend, right after the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, which, according to ESPN, will now be a competition between guards and big men.

Following the two events, the much anticipated Verizon Slam Dunk contest will close the day, with Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine aiming to defend the title he won last year.

The All-Star Game, which is the highlight of all the festivities, is set to take place at the Air Canada Centre, the home of this year's host the Toronto Raptors, on Feb. 14.
