A new rivalry is brewing this 2015–16 National Basketball Association (NBA) regular season and will continue when the Golden State Warriors host the Milwaukee Bucks at the Oracle Arena today, Friday.

The Warriors began the season at 24–0 and even recorded the second longest winning streak in the history of the NBA with 28 wins dating back to last season.

But all that was snapped last Dec. 12 when the Bucks stunned the Warriors, defeating them and ending the streak at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, 108–95.

Following the loss, the Warriors bounced back and are again on the winning track as they dominated the Phoenix Suns at home Wednesday, 128–103.

Leading the way in the victory was one half of the Splash Brothers, guard Klay Thompson, who had 43 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Helping him were his fellow Splash Brother reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP) Stephen Curry and forward Draymond Green.

Curry had 25 points, two rebounds, seven assists, with one steal, while Green listed another triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, that came along with five steals, and one rejection.

The Warriors are smelling blood and already had fiery messages for the Bucks who ended their winning streak.

Curry said after Wednesday's win against the Suns, according to ESPN, "Oh, it was a nice celebration. We do remember that stuff. We were kind of laughing at some of the stuff going on. It was a big game for them. Friday will be a big game for us."

Meanwhile, Green and Thompson did not like the way Bucks point guard Michael Carter-Williams celebrated after throwing a jam which was the exclamation point during the teams' first meeting.

If the Warriors won following their first loss this season, the Bucks were unable to continue the success as they lost back-to-back versus the teams from Los Angeles, the Lakers and Clippers.

The Bucks had promise entering the season because of their young and talented roster, but so far, they have yet to find their groove and are at 10–17, 13th in the Eastern Conference.

The game between the Warriors and Bucks will be played today, Dec. 18, at 10:30 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here.
