The Google Nexus 5 (2015) seems to be on course for a fourth quarter debut though the search engine giant continues to stay mum on what to expect about the next device.

Apparently some are referring to the cycle that Google had in 2014.

Last year, Google had announced the Android L (Android Lollipop) at the I/O conference 2014 and was later followed by the release of the Google Nexus 6 in November.

Hence, with the announcement of the Android M, the debut of the touted Google Nexus 5 (2015) seems to be pretty much on course for a Q4 debut though it would have been better if there would be hints on what to expect from the said device.

And with that said, we only have the grapevine to rely on for now.

A report from Android Police suggests that there could be two devices set for release. One is codenamed LG Bullhead which is believed to be the actual Google Nexus 5 (2015) which will be tackled by LG.

Per rumors, it is believed that the Google Nexus 2015 will be a variant of the 2013 LG Nexus 5. Among the features it will carry include a 5.2-inch screen and a 2,700 mAh battery.

As far as the processor to power it all, such has yet to be decided as well. There rumors that the device could carry a Snapdragon 808 processor but all this remains unofficial for now.

Other features in the rumor mill for the Google Nexus 5 (2015) include the device carrying a finger-print sensor, and USB-C ports.

A second device is codenamed Huawei Angler which will be made by Huawei which will most likely succeed the Motorola Nexus 6.

The Huawei Angler variant will reportedly come with a 5.7-inch OLED display and Snapdragon 810 processor.

Both devices could make their debut by September or October, presumably armed with Android M out of the box.
