Google Nexus 6 and 8's release dates are fast approaching as the two devices were mentioned in the Chromium Code.

Google has not announced the concrete release date of its Nexus devices. However, its two rumored devices were spotted in the Chromium Code, according to a report from Android Geeks. This is not the first time that Nexus devices were mentioned in the said code. It was worth to mention that the leaks that come through it were accurate. However, to the dismay of Google fans yearning for leaks, the Chromium Code did not give additional details about the two Nexus devices.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Google will release a new premier line dubbed as Android Silver. Android Silver line will allegedly replace the Nexus program. The new line will aim to give consumers devices that are improved on the hardware side while enjoying the pure Android experience.

Other reports claimed that Google will not only drop the Nexus line but will also "sterilize Android and remove unnecessary bloatware and skins." This suggested that Google will limit the devices in adopting the mobile software to avoid products like Amazon's Kindle and Nokia X in capitalizing on the OS.

On the other hand, Nexus 8 tablet will pack an 8-inch panel and will replace the current Nexus 7 line. Reports stated that Google may gain more profits in the 8-inch market due to lesser competition. Taiwanese tech company HTC was rumored to take the helm in making the Nexus 8. Nexus 6 smartphone, on the other hand, was speculated to pack specs and features similar to LG G3 if LG Electronics will manufacture the device.

The two devices were reported to arrive in separate launch dates. Rumor has it that the Nexus 8 tablet will be launched next month at the I/O Conference, which has been the launching platform of previous Nexus 7 tablets. Nexus 6, on the other hand, will be released in October as usual.
