Nexus 6 stock in Google Play Store refreshes every Wednesday

Google's Nexus 6

Good news to buyers waiting for the return of Nexus 6. Google assured consumers that they would replenish the supply of Nexus 6 smartphones every Wednesday.

When consumers caught sight of the Nexus 6 in the Google Play Store last Oct. 29, the device was instantly sold out, making it impossible for many buyers to place an order.

However, the tech giant posted an update in the website claiming that it has immediate plans of restocking the handset. In a statement, the company says it will try to make more Nexus 6 units available for purchase every Wednesday starting today, but the time as to when the next units will be listed in the website is still unconfirmed.

The statement reads, "We are getting more Nexus 6 devices in stock as soon as possible. To make things simpler for you, we will work to make more devices available each Wednesday and encourage you to visit the site at that time."

Meanwhile, Google also offers a couple of new cases for their new Nexus 6 smartphones.

One of the cases is a folio case that acts like a stand to the handset, which is similar to the Stand Folio Case of the iPad that allows users to prop up the device. This is perfect when one wants to watch a movie.  The folio case also has slots for credit cards and IDs, which doubles the case as a wallet. The case costs $40.

The other case is a transparent, snap-on cover that comes with a stand that flicks at the back. The case is made out of dual-layer hard plastic with chrome buttons on the sides. This costs $35.

The two cases are posted to come soon and will most likely be available when the Play Store has restocked their Nexus 6 supply.
