Google has officially announced that Nexus 6P will be available in the market this October.

TechRadar said in its report that the Google Nexus 6P is now available in the market for pre-order in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Japan. The Nexus 6P is available for pre-order at Google's online stores.

Although no official details have been released yet by Google on when the devices will be delivered, the report says that it will start shipping by the end of the month. It also added that buyers from the United States will get a $50 Play Store credits with their pre-order.

For Japanese buyers, Nexus 6P will be available through SoftBank, according to a report by iDigitalTimes. SoftBank, the parent company of Sprint, made pre-orders available in Japan on Oct. 9. No information regarding its price has been given as of the moment. Nexus 6P is manufactured by Huawei. It is the first phablet to feature a metal casing.

iDigitalTimes also reported that SoftBank will release a gold model of the handset, which will be called the Nexus 6P Special Edition.

Users will have the option to purchase the Nexus 6P in 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB, while the Nexus 6P Special Edition will be offered in 64 GB and 128 GB. The 64 GB gold model will only be available in Japan, while it is currently available in frost white, aluminum, and graphite colors for other countries.

The Nexus 6P runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3 mm dimensions. It has a 5.7-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display and uses Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for more durability. It features a 12.3-megapixel camera at the back with autofocus and a camera in front with 8 megapixels. It is light at 178 grams and made of Anodized aluminum. Its 3,450 mAh battery can last for seven hours.

Prices for the Google Nexus 6P start at $499 for its 32 GB base model.
