Recently, some speculations are saying that the Google Nexus 7 2016 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will have excellent specs, which includes Snapdragon chipsets, Exynos processors, and the like. However, the two devices still have differences, and it seems that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be a better choice in terms of price while the Nexus 7 2016 is suitable for those who want a high-end tablet that is worth its price.

According to Mobile & Apps, the current specs of both devices are still rumors as of now, so it is still up to the buyers to choose their preferred device once both of them are officially announced and released.First off, the Google Nexus 7 2016 is expected to have two variations — namely the Pixel and the Pixel XL — which will sport a chassis similar to that of its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S3 also has its own two variants that differ in screen sizes as well, but will have a curved-edged chassis instead.

As for its display capabilities, the Nexus 7 2016 will have a 7-inch screen as well as a Quad AMOLED display panel, and it will also have a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution for the Pixel, while the Pixel XL will have a 2560 x 1600 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab S3, however, will have a bigger screen at 8 inches and 9.7 inches, which will also feature an AMOLED display panel as well as 4k resolution onboard.

When it comes to performance, News Everyday reports that the Nexus 7 2016 will have 4 GB worth of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, and 64 GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab S3, on the other hand, is expected to have 4 GB RAM, an Exynos 8890 processor, with a variant that will also have a Snapdragon 820 chipset, and 32 GB internal storage for its base variant.

Regardless, it is still unclear whether or not these are the final specs, but with the release date of both devices apparently imminent, it is only a matter of time before the details are confirmed.
