In the next episode of "Gotham" season 4, Jerome Valeska aka The Joker (Cameron Monaghan) and Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) fight for control of Arkham Asylum.

The promotional trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Pieces of a Broken Mirror" was released just recently and it shows the formidable Jerome walking up to someone in prison and putting down a Joker card on the table. It appears that Joker wants to dominate over the convicted patients in the mental facility, which includes Penguin. However, Penguin rejects his power move and will do anything to stop Joker from gaining control.

"Make me laugh," Jerome tells his seeming arch-nemesis.

Penguin leaps on top of a table and says defiantly, "I will not!"

They both end up fighting as Penguin is able to kick Joker in the face. Instead of hitting back, Jerome just laughs hysterically as Penguin stands there confused and amused. They both stop fighting and pause for a moment. They realize that they have the same goal in mind and that is to escape from the insane asylum and wreak havoc on Gotham. It appears that they might join forces to pursue their vision together.

"We're going to have so much fun together," Joker says to Penguin with an evil smile.

It remains to be seen whether or not they will be able to break out and cause problems for the city.

In this week's season 4 midseason finale, Commissioner Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) arrested Penguin for the murder of a young boy named Martin (Christopher Convery). Penguin denied it but Victor Zsasz (Anthony Carrigan) offered to testify against his former boss. Penguin was enraged at Zsasz's betrayal and accused him of being a liar.

"Gotham" season 4 episode 12 is expected to hit the airwaves sometime next spring on FOX.
