"Gran Turismo Sport," Polyphony Digital's racing game, an exlcusive for the fourth-generation console PlayStation 4 (PS4), recently released an update to quell its anxious fan base. "Gran Turismo Sport" (GT Sport) has recently been on the hot seat after fans felt that the game needed more content, especially since Polyphony Digital has been known to develop fantastic games full of supercars and different modes.

The game developer responded by issuing "GT Sport," a new update that features more cars, tracks, and bonuses. The best news for "GT" supporters here is that the update is free and is not classified as a downloadable content (DLC). Polyphony Digital even made things more exciting by releasing a trailer of what players can expect.

Some of the biggest updates include six new tracks for players to use, as well as 10 more cars to choose from. Among the new cars included are the 2002 Dodge Viper GTS, 2006 Ford GT, 1966 Jaguar XJ13, McLaren F1, Lamborghini Diablo GT, and Ferrari 330 P4. The 10 new sports cars are exciting enough, especially with the mix of vintage cars such as the Ferrari 330 P4 to more modern ones such as the 2014 Toyota FT-1, but the updates do not end there.

"GT Sport" will also have new events for more in-game variety. The new events are all included in the "GT League," with some being an endurance series, and a J-Sport Meeting. All of these will give players a chance to test not only the older cars in new modes, but the new arrivals as well.

As for Ford enthusiasts, there is even greater news as there is one career mode specifically for the Ford Raptor, dubbed as the F150 Raptor Survival mode.

Thanks to the large amount of content in its 1.11 update of January, "Gran Turismo Sport" is now reportedly in better shape compared to when it was first released. The game looks a lot more complete with the update, and fans are given a massive discount since the package content is comparable to a DLC pack that would have cost an additional $30.
