Big companies such as Samsung may not have that much of a sense of humor when it comes to people ridiculing their products and their latest blunder.

A recent report has now revealed that the company has apparently filed a DMCA takedown against a particular YouTube video that had poked fun at its recently released Galaxy Note 7 and its highly publicized exploding battery issue.

The YouTube video is basically some gameplay footage of the highly popular open world action-adventure video game, "Grand Theft Auto 5." What is quite controversial about it is that the game apparently had a custom mod installed which replaced the game's stick explosives with Samsung's latest phablet device.

The player in the video can be seen purchasing the phone from a gun and ammunition store which he then uses to wreak havoc in the city. The player is seen throwing the phone onto different vehicles and even at the police, which then results in massive explosions.

With Samsung's demand, the video was immediately taken down by its user, but unfortunately, it then went back up just a few hours later. There are, of course, other videos that have popped up since then which all featured the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 mod.

Samsung has previously ordered a full recall of all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones following the discovery of a faulty install for its lithium-ion batteries. Despite their best efforts, the problem has apparently persisted, which resulted in the company completely putting a halt to production and discontinuing the device.

The company has since then tried to recover from this PR nightmare by releasing newer products which will include the company's latest smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Gear S3.
