"Grand Theft Auto 5" players now have more new items to look forward to in the game, thanks to the arrival of the "Festive Surprise" update.

As players could have probably guessed, the new update is adding snow to "Grand Theft Auto 5," and players can even take part in snowball fights if they want to, although "Festive Surprise" is adding more than just that.

Snowball fights and the new snow-covered landscape will be available to all ports of "Grand Theft Auto 5."

Among the most notable additions coming via the "Grand Theft Auto 5" holiday update is the new "Beast vs. Slasher" adversary mode.

In this game mode, players will be divided into teams of beasts and slashers. The primary goal of the beasts is to avoid the slashers. In order to avoid the slashers, the beasts will be able to use their better movement speed, their ability to scale buildings by jumping and even temporary invisibility, according to Dual Shockers.

On the other hand, the slashers will be able to use multiple weapons in pursuit of the beasts. The slashers will also be divided into three sub-classes known as Assault, Demolition, and Heavy.

Anywhere between four to 10 players can try out "Beast vs. Slasher" at the same time.

The new game mode will be available only to personal computer (PC), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of "Grand Theft Auto 5."

The arrival of the "Festive Surprise" update also confirms the longstanding rumor that a new car would be added to the game right in time for the holiday season.

According to Express UK, players can now head on over to the Southern San Andreas Super Autos store to purchase the new car known as the Declasse Tampa.

Unfortunately for last generation "Grand Theft Auto 5" players, the new car will be available only to current generation platforms as well.
