Although "Grand Theft Auto 5" continues to grow with expansions and downloadable content (DLC) here and there, many gamers still cannot help but look forward to "Grand Theft Auto 6."

A GTA Forums user claims that the next "Grand Theft Auto" installment will not arrive until 2020 and that Rockstar Games has a plan for DLC releases up until 2018.

The same tipster was right about the release of the "Bikers" DLC for "GTA 5," which is why the impression is that the DLC roadmap he provided might actually be the real deal.

He was also careful with sharing these details as he only posted thrice in the entirety of his membership in the GTA Forums.

The tipster said that "GTA 6" might be out "sometime around 2020 at the very earliest." He also suggested that Vice City could be the setting for the "GTA 5" sequel.

Vice City is, of course, the location that players got to explore in "GTA: Vice City," which was released back in 2002. It looks like Rockstar is looking to give the crime-laden city a makeover for "GTA 6."

The richness of the location could be taken advantage of even further, thanks to the power of the current and next-generation consoles.

However, with "GTA 6" a long way off, Rockstar will make sure the long wait will be worthwhile. If the post of the tipster is to be believed, gamers can expect a barrage of "GTA 5" DLC spanning up to 2018.

The purported North Yankton and Liberty City DLC, which is an online map expansion, will reportedly be released in September next year and will cater to trade on the stock market.

The last "GTA 5" DLC prior to the "GTA 6" launch will reportedly be San Fierro and Las Ventures, which is set for release two years from now. Both these expansions will be priced equivalent to a full game, which suggests that they will be huge.
