"Grand Theft Auto" fans are already looking forward to the sixth version of the game even if there's no word about it from its developer and publisher, Rockstar. Hardcore gamers of the series are expecting that the new game will be available by the year 2020 and that it will feature a VR mode for a more immersive gameplay.

"Grand Theft Auto 6" may not follow the usual release itinerary of the game series. It was initially believed that the new game would be out by 2018, but the latest rumors suggest that it could take longer. There is also the possibility that the development may go beyond 2020, according to iTech Post.

There are also reports suggesting that the studio not in a hurry to release the next game considering that "Grand Theft Auto 5" was released back in 2013. Primarily, the current game's online version is still cash staple for the company aside from gamers still having a lot of fun. A new DLC is also rumored to come out for the game soon.

Another rumor circulating in the community is about the budget behind the new game. It is speculated that "GTA 6" will cost at least $300 million if the next game will be as large as the latest game. "GTA 5" already cost Rockstar around US$260 million, but this will never be an issue for the company since is said to be have earned around $700 million already, Neurogadget stated.

However, it cannot also be denied that there is always a possibility that the studio has already started with the development of the game and is just keeping things neatly under wraps, typical with any other game in development.
