"Grand Theft Auto V" is about to get a new downloadable content (DLC) to the single player mode of the game, according to a leakster.

FunMW2 wrote in GTA Forums on Jan. 8 that Rockstar's action-adventure game is said to be given a casino DLC in the single player game.

The popular "Grand Theft Auto" tipster mentioned in his post that the casino DLC will bring mini-games and new activities. The new mini-games will include blackjack, poker, and slot, the post indicated.

Furthermore, the tipster claimed that the coding for the DLC was spotted in the game script.

In a response to other forum members, Fun also wrote that based on the coding, the DLC is expected to be "massive."

Whether or not the report on the upcoming DLC is true, it's important to note that this isn't the first time that a casino update has been rumored to arrive in the game.

Will the update arrive this year? No one really knows and only an official announcement from Rockstar would clear the rumors.

Meanwhile, a number of fans were not too thrilled about FunMW2's report. One user even commented that a casino DLC arriving on single player mode only will be no fun.

The user, known as Bennyy, said that if the casino DLC arrives for single player only, it would be a total fail from Rockstar, because as what he or she described, most "Grand Theft Auto" players love the online or multiplayer game mode and not the offline.

Another user, eyman, agrees with Bennyy and wrote that bringing the DLC to the online game mode would be more profitable for the game developers and it would be a "dumb move" if the update won't arrive to the multiplayer scene.

But in another post from FunMW2 dated Jan. 9, it was mentioned that the casino DLC update will indeed be available for both game modes.

It remains to be seen if this update will really arrive and if it becomes available for both game modes. More updates about this heavily rumored DLC should pop-up anytime soon.
