Although Rockstar Games only recently updated the online multiplayer feature for its "Grand Theft Auto V" title, fans are already asking when the follow-up to "Executives and Other Criminals" DLC will land. Meanwhile, speculations suggest that Rockstar Games plans to release a new update soon, this time as a follow-up to the first "Lowriders" expansion content.

According to TechTimes, resourceful fans of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise have unearthed a source code buried among the files released after the "Executives and Other Criminals" DLC was released. Apparently, included in the source codes is the title "Lowrider 2."

IBTimes also corroborated the rumor, adding that the entire "Lowriders" update was scheduled to release at least 12 new cars for "GTA Online." However, only six cars were unlocked for the "Lowriders" DLC. The industry follower surmised that this means that there would indeed be a second part where the six remaining cars would be unlocked. The report also stated that the remaining vehicle list will comprise of the Faction3, Minivan2, SabreGT2, Slamvan3, Tornado5 and regular top-down and topless version models, the Virgo2 and Virgo3.

Aside from the "Lowriders 2.0" DLC, other observers are also expecting Rockstar Games to come out with Christmas-themed expansion content. According to Yibada, different speculations suggest that game testers were already testing out the actual content for two new DLC packs, and one of them might be a Christmas-themed one.

The industry follower added that a fan claimed Rockstar Games has already updated its test servers with some new DLC files. These steps for the game developer might signal more downloadable content going live soon.

The latest update that players received for "Grand Theft Auto Online" is the "Executives and Other Criminals" DLC. The current update now allows players to create their own criminal organizations with VIP status, and hire fellow online players as bodyguards.
