While developer Rockstar Games has yet to officially confirm a follow-up sequel to its "Grand Theft Auto" franchise, fans are already expecting "Grand Theft Auto VI," given that the series continues to be one of the company's moneymakers and a hugely popular franchise in the industry.

The latest rumors suggest that Rockstar Games, even if not officially announcing it, already has concrete ideas how "Grand Theft Auto VI" will turn out, including some new features in the franchise.

According to Crossmap, one novel idea that Rockstar Games seems to be pushing for is the first-ever female lead for the series. Rockstar Games' co-founder Dan Houser already stated that "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course, we just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about."

In addition, speculations mentioned that the female protagonist will not just be a character out of the blue but patterned (and voiced, supposedly) by Hollywood A-lister Eva Mendes. While this rumor remains unconfirmed, the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise has been known to guest star Hollywood actors.

Other rumors placed Ryan Gosling to be appearing in the upcoming title.

Meanwhile, Parent Herald reported that the next "Grand Theft Auto" installment will feature such a massive map that players will have to "teleport" from one location to another. In addition, there are also speculations that developers plan to integrate previous "GTA" maps into one massive "Grand Theft Auto VI" area.

In connection to the massive expansion and novel features to be integrated into "Grand Theft Auto VI," some observers are saying that Rockstar Games might take some time to finalize the title installment, given that developers also continuously update the franchise's current "GTA V" online multiplayer feature, as well as working on other titles.
