There might be hope for April and Jackson's baby in the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 11.

In the episode titled "The Bed's Too Big Without You," April (Sarah Drew) will do whatever it takes to save her unborn child with Jackson (Jesse Williams).

The official synopsis for the episode was released by ABC, and it says:

"April stays optimistic as Arizona begins testing on her baby; Dr. Herman plans out a crash course in fetal surgery; and Owen and Callie encourage each other to get back into the dating scene. Meanwhile, Meredith, Maggie and Bailey use the 3D printer to gain a better understanding of their patient's tumor."

With the promise to help each other throughout the difficult ordeal, Jackson and April try everything to help their soon-to-be born baby boy.

Meanwhile, Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) finally agrees to get treated after Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) convince her to do it.

On the other hand, Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) spend more time together as they encourage each other to move on from their failed relationships. They both try to prepare themselves to start seeing new people.

Elsewhere, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) starts longing for Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) presence after he left for a new job in Washington D.C. in last week's episode. To keep her mind busy, she joins Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Miranda Bailey (guest actress Chandra Wilson) in treating a new patient who has a tumor. To further understand their patient's condition, the three doctors make use of 3D printing technology.

This will be Meredith's first time to deal with everything after two of her most trusted people in the world left her at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Cristina (Sandra Oh) earlier left to work in Switzerland.

Series creator Shonda Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly that this will be an exciting journey for Meredith.

"I love the idea that this could possibly mean that for the first time in her life at the hospital, she has neither Cristina nor Derek, and therefore is essentially alone and how she's going to cope with that. It's going to be very interesting for her," the series executive producer said.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 11 episode 10 airs February 5 on ABC.
