Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) will have a lot on her hands in the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 11. 

When Dr. Nicole Herman's (Geena Davis) brain tumor grew sooner than expected, Amelia had no other choice but to proceed with the dangerous procedure to save the life of one of the best doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. But can Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) sister-in-law successfully finish the risky operation that is expected to last for at least 18 hours, while all the other doctors are closely monitoring all her moves? 

Carter Matt posted the official synopsis of the episode, saying: 

"In this Amelia-centric episode, Amelia engages in the surgery of a lifetime as a crowd of doctors look on from the gallery. With Stephanie by her side, she begins operating on Dr. Herman, but quickly realizes it's far more difficult than she anticipated. Meanwhile, Bailey becomes skeptical when Arizona takes on one of Herman's cases." 

But it seems like Amelia will also risk a lot in that operating room. A video teaser for the episode shows that the neurosurgeon decides to remove her protective gloves to have full control of her hands to remove Herman's tumor. 

In the video posted on Wetpaint, both Amelia and Meredith are busy working on Dr. Herman's tumor, but Amelia's protective gloves make her clumsy. Pressured for time, Amelia claims that using the gloves can hamper with her operation. However, Meredith assures her that she is doing well, and she does not have to rush things because they are not in a race. Still, Amelia is not happy with the way things are going, which is why she decides to remove the gloves. Everyone working around her yells to tell her that she is exposing herself to a dangerous level of radiation. 

"Grey's Anatomy" season 11 episode 14 airs Thursday, March 5, on ABC.
