After reports came out regarding the possible career change for Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) when "Grimm" returns for season 5, new spoilers claim that he will also have someone new in his life.

Nick's girlfriend Juliet (Bitsie Tulloch) died in season 4 in the hands of his protégé Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) and his mother Kelly (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) was murdered before that, causing his personality to turn darker and more withdrawn in season 5. This, according to reports, will push him to the decision of quitting the police force as he would rather choose to concentrate on being a grimm to avenge the deaths of the most important women in his life.

"It seems to be Nick plotting revenge. I would definitely say I don't really care about being a cop anymore. I'm just like I'm doing my own Grimm thing," Giuntoli told the press after the panel presentation of the show during the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.

But it will not be the only change that Nick will have to go through in the coming season. According to reports, Adalind (Claire Coffee) will give birth to Nick's baby. It will somehow change the dynamics in Nick's life now that he is to become a father to a baby boy. However, it does not mean that he will begin a new relationship with his baby mama in the upcoming episodes.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Nick will have a renewed relationship with his long-time friend and partner Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) in "Grimm" season 5.

"I think it'll re-up the Nick and Monroe relationship. I think they realized that the fans really enjoy that so they want to bring it back. I've seen evidence of that," the lead actor shared.

But while Nick will be having a lot of changes when the series returns, Trubel will be in danger next season.

"Trubel is who I'm concerned about right now. Something bad happens to her right away," Giuntoli said.

"Grimm" season 5 is set to premiere on Oct. 30 on NBC.
