Grimm" season 4 ended with a lot of tragedy, particularly with Nick (David Giuntoli) losing his girlfriend Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) in the hands of Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni). Fans who attended the San Diego Comic-Con were told that the character is indeed dead, as reported by TV Guide, and now the trailer confirms this to be true.

In the promotional trailer, there is a quick flashback to Juliette's death and then the video quickly cuts to a funeral where she is clearly seen in her coffin. Her death won't be taken lightly, however, as Nick is said to "go off the deep end" as he veers away from any guidance and chain of command to get revenge.

The TV Guide report stated that during the San Diego Comic-Con panel, a question was asked whether Juliette is truly gone or if she is only implied to be dead before being resurrected in some form in the new season, similar to the ongoing rumors about Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) in "Game of Thrones." Unfortunately for fans of the character, the trailer appears to confirm that she has met her demise. It isn't confirmed, however, if Tulloch will be appearing in season 5 through flashbacks or hallucinations, both of which are still possibilities.

Although Juliette is gone, there will still be a family for Nick throughout season 5. Director Noberto Barba posted a behind-the-scenes image via Twitter which showcases Adalind (Claire Coffee) holding her newborn baby, which was revealed back in season 4 as Nick's child.

The post indicates that she will survive childbirth and that their new family dynamic will play a major role in the upcoming season. Back in July, Coffee affirmed that this would be the case as she explained that Adalind, who now has no powers, will focus solely on her child and on getting a new job to provide for her new family.

"Grimm" season 5 is scheduled to premiere this Oct. 30.
