No matter how tough she acts, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) has not convinced her employer that she is okay with Nick (David Giuntoli) and Adalind's (Claire Coffee) relationship. The upcoming episode of the "Grimm" will see Hadrian's Wall asking Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) to interrogate Eve and get to the truth.
In "Map of the Seven Knights," TV Guide reports that the female Grimm will confront Eve over her feelings for her ex-boyfriend. Ever since she resurfaced, Eve has acted coolly around Nick, as if they have not shared anything in the past.
She is no longer Juliette, but a fighter for Hadrian's Wall, whose sole purpose is to eradicate the Black Claw. Even after learning that Nick fathered a child with Adalind, Eve showed no emotions.
Her actions may have convinced Nick and the rest of the gang, but the secret government organization she is working for have doubts. Trubel especially thinks Eve is just hiding what she truly feels. She knows fully how in love Nick and Juliette were before things turned bad between them. They were the ones who gave Trubel shelter when she was still adjusting to the knowledge that she's a Grimm. Will Trubel be able to extract the truth from Eve?
Tulloch previously shared in an interview with TV Line that her resurrected character is incapable of feeling anything for Nick and his new relationship. Eve is reportedly concentrating on her job with Hadrian's Wall. Nothing will stop her from taking down all the Wesens, even her former lover. As a matter of fact, she is slated to become Nick's biggest foe in season 5B. With Adalind and the baby, she just cannot be bothered.
"What better antagonist do you have than the woman who is the love of his life, whom he trusts implicitly, to be the one who is now out for blood and involved in the death of his mother," the actress said. "Eve does not have an emotional attachment to the baby or to Adalind," she added.
"Grimm" season 5 airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
