'Grimm' season 5 episode 14 spoilers: Monroe is faced with a big decision in 'Lycanthrophia'

Nick and the group investigate a brutal killing in the woods in "Grimm" season 5 episode 14.NBC

The next episode of "Grimm" season 5 will put Monroe in quite a dilemma. Titled "Lycanthrophia," this week's installment will pit the blutbad against one of his kind.

Nick and the team have in front of them a case of brutal carnage in the woods that occurred during the full moon, which led Monroe to conclude that the massacre is the doing of a werewolf.

As the investigation continues in the upcoming "Grimm" season 5 episode, Nick and Hank will learn that some sort of alarming wesen disease is slowly slithering to the city.

This disease is nothing to close the eyes to simply because it has the makings of a virus only seen and heard in werewolf myths.

This hints that it may not be a myth after all and that the bloodthirsty werewolf running amok in "Grimm" season 5 is the deadly outcome of this disease's dispersal.

The trailer for the "Grimm" season 5 episode shows that Nick's party will eventually catch up with the werewolf, but Monroe isn't sure if killing someone from his clan is the way to go.

With the werewolf having nowhere to go, all Monroe has to do is shoot the guy to end the horrors he started once and for all. Whether or not Monroe pulls the trigger remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, the next episode of "Grimm" season 5 will also follow Adalind as she ponders an offer that will allow her to get her daughter Diana back.

Rumor has it that Black Claw might have something to do with Adalind's dilemma and will be using the royal against her own mother.

In the previous episode of "Grimm" season 5, Adalind continues to do something about her hexenbiest powers resurfacing and Black Claw may have found a way to play that to their advantage.

As for Eve, the assassin will come across "a surprising revelation" in this "Grimm" episode, possibly about the killer group she was tasked to go after.

"Grimm" season 5 episode 14 "Lycanthrophia" airs March 25 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
