In two weeks time, fans will see the return of "Grimm" with its brand new season 5, which will pick up after what happened to Nick's (David Giuntoli) girlfriend Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch).

Back in season 4, it was seen that Grimm trainee Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) shot Juliette in her hexenbiest form with a crossbow in order to save Nick's life. Juliette died in Nick's arms and he, on the other hand, felt shattered over what just happened.

Not only did Nick deal with the death of his love but also the beheading of his mom; these losses will be what the Grimm will be facing with in the upcoming season.

Based on the premiere synopsis, Nick will also be dealing with fatherhood and the fact that he will have a baby with his sworn enemy, Adalind (Claire Coffee). Preview photos for season 5 suggest that Adalind will give natural birth to their supernatural baby and Nick will also be there beside her.

With all that's happened to the Grimm, it's expected that he would lose it and he would be setting out for revenge, unless the upcoming little bundle of joy would save him from that path.

Meanwhile, the premiere synopsis also mentioned that FBI Agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez) will be back and Nick is going after her to find some answers.

A recently released sneak peek for the upcoming season even shows Nick telling Hank (Russell Hornsby) everything that has happened — his mother's death; Juliette almost killing him; Trubel shooting Juliette, him being drugged; Trubel being abducted; and the cleanup.

Nick also shares with Hank that Chavez may have something to do with all of it because if it were the Royals, he should have been eliminated by then.

Hank, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be convinced about Nick's theories. But the Grimm insists that Chavez was responsible for Trubel's abduction because she had done so in the past.

In the final moments of the teaser, Hank warns Nick about going after an FBI agent, but he responded "She's a Wesen and I'm taking her down."

"Grimm" will return with its fifth season on Friday, Oct. 30, at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
