Nick (David Giuntoli) will have little and big problems when "Grimm" returns for season 6.

At the end of "Grimm" season 5, Renard (Sasha Roiz) killed the Black Claw co-founder Conrad Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) right before the Zauberbiest was about to kill Nick. But Renard was not the one who was plotting for Bonaparte's death. It was his daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) who controlled the new Portland mayor to kill the Black Claw leader to stab Renard.

According to speculations, Renard will make Nick's life more difficult in season 6 to make him pay for saving his life. But this does not mean that the two will finally get along well, since there could be a chance that Renard will use the power of his daughter to go after Nick by brainwashing her to kill him.

In an interview with TV Insider, Giuntoli revealed that the animosity between Nick and Renard will continue next season.

"He's face to face with Renard, so this could go two ways. Will there be a negotiation?" the actor said. "Will Nick think this through? Or is he so furious at Renard for taking his child away that he'll just go crazy? I would imagine the first scene in Season 6 will be a real melee with Nick and Renard. Of course, Renard is the one with the sword."

The actor also discussed how Nick will deal with Wu's (Reggie Lee) transformation into a Great Ape. According to Giuntoli, Nick understands that humans who turn into monsters do not necessary mean that they will also become evil.

"He of all people is trained to know how to manage monsters. I'm guessing he's probably happy to have Wu around, no matter what. He knows it was a constant battle for Monroe to keep his true nature in check," the actor revealed. "The poor guy did everything from going vegan to doing yoga and Pilates. I think we'll revisit that same theme with Wu."

"Grimm" is expected to return on NBC with a reduced, 13-episode order for season 6 sometime this fall.
