'GTA Online Heists' DLC out now: new achievements revealed

 Rockstar Games

Some "GTA Online" players were prompted to download "Heists" early, although the much-awaited DLC was promised to come out today, March 10. This revealed the size of the update, which no one had an idea about. The information was shared by a Twitter user who was given a chance to install the content in advance. His upper hand allowed him to help fellow "GTA" patrons prepare for the arrival of the DLC.

Xbox One owners will have to clear out space for "Heists" as it comes in a hefty 4.8 GB size. Meanwhile, players using the Xbox 360 need to prepare 1.2 GB of space. Unfortunately, no details were made available for the PS4 and PS3, although it is expected that the update will arrive with around the same size. Rockstar is mum about it. Besides, "GTA Online" players must be getting a load of the update already.

Thanks to the early update, players also learned the change that happens in the Gamescore. With "Heists," there are nine brand-new achievements that total to 250 Gamescore. One mission is called "Can't Touch This" wherein players are challenged to accomplish the mission without a scratch. Another is called "Live A Little" and, like what the achievement's title implies, players will have to spend a total of $8,000,000 for in-game vehicles.

There are four achievements tagged as "secret" but they're not exactly considered that, as ardent "GTA" tipsters managed to take the wraps off them during the time gamers doubted the "Heists'" coming. There's "Be Prepared" to be achieved by completing a Heist Setup mission. Another is called "In the Name of Science," which involves successfully raiding Humane Labs. The penultimate new achievement is "Dead Presidents," which requires players to perform the Fleeca Job and the Pacific Standard Job. Lastly, there's "Parole Day" and, in order to accomplish that, players should be able to break their gang member out of prison.
