GTA 5 1.16 online update set for August 19 release?

Grand Theft Auto V

Fans eagerly awaiting the release of the "GTA 5" 1.16 upgrade might not need to wait any longer.

Reports reveal that the update may be made available to the public by August 19. In what appears to be another online leakage of the highly anticipated upgrade, self-proclaimed "GTA 5" leaker and YouTube user named TypicalGamer revealed that the new update will be called "CLC Pack".

These rumors are supported by speculations made by avid fans of the game series. In observing the launch date pattern of Rockstar, it was noted that the company consistently releases updates to their game codes approximately a week before the official DLC release. Hence, the game codes released on the Developer Market Place might be the sign that the official public launch of the update is just around the corner.

In an evident attempt to keep letting fans guessing the actual release date of the update, the purported new code that surfaced was marked with the year 1999. This was believed to be Rockstar's way of confusing eager players from actually figuring out the company's plans.

The "GTA 5" 1.16 upgrade will be expected to provide players with many new planes, as well as a new car. However, more rumors are insistent on the possibility of having additional Pilot School lessons on the single player upgrade. The same set of lessons might also be added to the GTA Online edition.

According to the leaked codes online, the new planes might include the Hydra, Besra, Miljet, and Coquette 2. With respect to the pricing of the aircrafts, the code hinted on these as well. For the Hydra, the price will probably be $1.7 million. The Besra will cost $1.25 million. The Miljet will be roughly $1.98 million. The Coquette 2 will be approximately $600 thousand.

Apart from the expense required in having these new planes, players will also be compelled to complete challenges and finish specific levels for these new items to be available to them.
