The rumored Biker downloadable content (DLC) for "Grand Theft Auto 5" has been made official. A release date has not been set yet, but reports suggest that the expansion pack is coming with a Halloween DLC.

The rumor mills came up with a possible Oct. 18 release date, which was based on the launch history of developer Rockstar Games when it comes to DLCs.

This was the case for the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony expansion for "GTA 5." It was announced last May 9 but was not released until June 8. Cunning Stunts was announced alongside it, though, but this DLC was not released until July.

Looking at Rockstar's releases last year, it makes much more sense that the "GTA 5" Biker DLC is coming sometime next month.

The studio released "Ill Gotten Gains Part 1" in June 2015 and released "Ill Gotten Gains Part 2" by July of that year. It waited until October — the 10th to be exact — to release "Lowriders."

A year before that, Rockstar's October DLC launch fell on the second week. With that said, a launch on the third week of October will make sense for the "GTA 5" Biker DLC.

Media outlets are also convinced that the "GTA 5" Biker DLC will be released with the Halloween-themed "GTA" expansion pack come Oct. 18.

Rockstar first released a "GTA 5" DLC of such nature last year in the form of the "Halloween Surprise," which was dropped on Oct. 29, in time for the celebration.

The studio has not confirmed if another Halloween-inspired DLC is coming to the game, although rumors have it that it is on the way.

The "GTA 5" Biker DLC was announced last Sept. 19. It gives players the chance to form a Motorcycle Club with up to eight members.

There will be new roles to play, including Prospects and Presidents, which help determine the level of a player in the biker gang. The DLC also introduces new motorcycles and properties such as MC clubhouses which have a special custom Biker mechanic, and "venues for seedy business ventures."
