'GTA 5' Halloween DLC update: Terror sweeps game with two new cars, blackouts and a lot of slashing

It looks like residents of Los Santos and Blaine County will not miss out on the occasion. With Halloween closer than ever come reports that developer Rockstar will drop an incriminatingly spook-tacular Halloween-themed DLC on "GTA 5."

There will allegedly be all sorts of scare-tastic activities and paraphernalia to gorge in starting with a new Adversary mode called the Slasher. Here, gamers will be dealing with a baddie that has a Machete for a weapon. This bad guy role will be taken up by a player.

The baddie will then have to get hold of other players who have no weapons at their disposal within a specific amount of time. Failing to do so will endow these same players their own shotgun that they get to use to hunt down the bad guy instead.

A "GTA" tipster in the person of TezFunz hinted that the "GTA 5" Halloween DLC will also introduce the new City Blackout gameplay feature. To be able to complete it, players will be needing flashlights, which is why Rockstar is purportedly bringing in the flashlight feature on in-game weapons.

Also included in Rockstar's Halloween bonanza, as expected, are all types of new gear and equipment "GTA 5" players can utilize to take part in the horror fest. For starters, there will be two new rides to snag – the Albany Lurcher and the Btype2.

The latter, according to ardent "GTA 5" tipster DomisLive, is priced at $666,666. The price tag, needless to say, did not escape the Halloween fever. Players can have the vehicle fit the scary theme by dabbing in it new paint jobs on offer and slotting in a good old ogre bobblehead.

On the other hand, there's not much info about the Btype2 except for its towering price – $540,000 – although it is expected to be as highly customizable as the Lurcher. These two rides are reportedly tucked in the recently outed Lowriders game files, waiting to be unveiled at a later date.
