Rumors currently swirling around online saying that a third "Ill-Gotten Gains" downloadable content (DLC) pack is on the way are reportedly nothing more than a hoax.

According to iDigital Times, a supposed part three for the "Ill-Gotten Gains" DLC pack is nothing more than a bizarre rumor.

One prominent source for "Grand Theft Auto 5" news in YouTube user MrBossFTW has also expressed skepticism at the idea that the rumors could turn out to be true. According to him, all the rumors popping up in tweets, forums, and several other outlets are nothing more than hearsay. He even goes on to flat out deny that the DLC pack will be getting a third incarnation, saying bluntly, "There is no Ill-Gotten Gains Part 3."

It is also worth noting that Rockstar Games also made a point of saying that "Ill-Gotten Gains" DLC pack would only be made up of two parts, meaning a third part would represent the studio deciding to change plans.

Even if "GTA 5" fans cannot look forward to a third part to the "Ill-Gotten Gains" DLC pack, what they can expect is the arrival of a new DLC pack, which will either be named "Lowlife" or "Low Rider."

The new DLC pack will reportedly add 12 new cars to the game. At this point, however, there has been no official release date given for the "Lowlife/Low Rider" DLC.

In related news, a recent patch released for the personal computer (PC) version of "GTA 5" has addressed a framerate problem that has been plaguing the game as of late, according to Eurogamer.

The framerate problem reportedly surfaced due to an issue with another update that was released for "GTA Online."

Along with releasing the update, Rockstar Games also reminded players that some of the framerate issues they may be dealing with may be stemming from mods, although the studio has stuck to simply issuing a warning for now.
