Rumor mills continue to churn out details regarding the "GTA 6." While it seems like "GTA 5," which continues to be a hit to gamers, will be the flagship game of developer Rockstar for a while, there are already speculations about what its successor will be all about.

"GTA 6" is expected to be launched by 2018.The latest buzz is that the game will be out for the PlayStation 5 or PS5, a purported new iteration of Sony's gaming console. The gaming system will allegedly be out by November 2020, which is roughly five years from now.

By that time, the visuals and graphics and well as the utility of the console will be much better and more advanced, perfect for a game as ambitious as what rumors and speculations make out "GTA 6" to be.

There is a need for a much more powerful console because the "GTA 5" follow-up is said to be massive in scale. In fact, reports claim that the map in the much-awaited action-adventure video game from Rockstar will be an amalgamation of the maps from the previous games.

There is also word that while "GTA 5" gave gamers a chance to go on a crime spree in Los Santos and Blaine County, "GTA 6" will have the entire United States as the arena. In addition, gamers will get to explore all that through the lens of a female protagonist.

For a while now, there have been talks that the upcoming "GTA" iteration will be either modelled after or voiced by Hollywood star Eva Mendes. Her real-life partner Ryan Gosling will allegedly be involved in some way, shape or form.

Meanwhile, there are also speculations that "GTA 6" will offer a teleportation feature for gamers to easily and quickly go from one place to another. There's also a rumor that the game will be made into a MMORPG.

Whether or not this pushes through remains to be seen, with Rockstar still mum about the existence of "GTA 6." From the looks of it, the game studio is still busy with augmenting "GTA 5" and "GTA Online" with updates and DLC.
