'GTA Online' event updates: 'Tornado Week' event to last until April 7

The "Grand Theft Auto" franchise is currently holding a player-centric event for its "GTA Online" version, ending on April 7.

In an announcement on the Rockstar Games Newswire, it is said that "GTA Online" players are currently enjoying the "Tornado Week" to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a new addition to the "GTA Online" garage. By Tuesday, April 5, the game will unlock the DeClasse Tornado Custom as part of the "Lowriders Custom Classics" DLC.

The new Tornado Custom will be part of the selection at Benny's Original Motor Works, and players can take advantage of lowered prices for custom jobs all week. Select modifications for the Tornado Custom and other vehicles in the garage have as much as 25 percent discounts from their regular price tags. In addition, players who are looking to expand their garages in "GTA Online" can take advantage of up to 15 percent off on selected 10-car garage properties. In-game items connected with the "Lowriders Custom Classics" DLC also get discounts, such as up to 30 percent off on Machete and Machine Pistol in scattered Ammu-Nation branches in Los Santos and Lowriders clothing in selected boutiques.

Meanwhile, there are also double-rewards missions and quests scattered in the "GTA Online" map for different dates until April 7.

From April 4 to 5, players can get double RP and in-game cash rewards on all street races, to be followed by another double-rewards achievements for different Jobs with street racing on April 6 and April 7.

The areas in Los Santos also got an expansion with the launch of "Tornado Week" as the event also introduces new Sumo maps in the current expansion playlist. The new maps are in addition to the current Sumo maps that went live with the "Lowriders Custom Classics" DLC release.

The new "Tornado Week" and the newly released "Lowriders Custom Classics" DLC are part of ongoing expansion of the "GTA Online" installment.
