"Grand Theft Auto Online" has just gotten a brand new DLC update. The update, "Ill-Gotten Gains," brings new content like numerous new vehicles, clothing, and accessories. 

Most of the new content are considered as luxury items. Players, therefore, need to have ample amount of funds in order to enjoy the new items. Those who are only starting the game at this point or those without adequate in-game cash can have a chance to raise funds via an event from June 12 to 14. 

Rockstar Games decided to celebrate the release of the new update for "GTA Online" in style. As part of the "Ill-Gotten Gains" rollout, "GTA Online" is holding the special event this weekend. Both hardcore fans of the series and casual players alike have the chance to gain double the amount of rewards and in-game cash via the Double Cash Adversary modes. Aside from an increased cash bonus, players can also get armory completion bonus and other items such as Molotovs, Sticky Bombs, Proximity Mines, and Body Armor upon completion of the challenge. 

In addition, there are three other events in the "GTA Online" world that have significant rewards for this weekend. For players who have already downloaded the iFruit camera app, there is a contest on the Social Hub by Rockstar for the best in-game photographs, with as much as $1 million in-game cash as prize. There is also a Social Club Sweepstakes event with numerous items such as a GTA V Chrome Zippo, Epsilon pendant, and other "GTA" items. 

In-game events such as races also have double RP all weekend. The double points in the races are to entice players to try out all the land, sea, and air race events scattered all over the "GTA V" world.
