'GTA Online' news: Glitches reveal game secrets

Rockstar Games continues to update its current installment for the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise, particularly the online multiplayer content, with numerous patches and fixes. However, some hardcore players still manage to discover new glitches and bugs.

The latest glitch to be discovered lets players free-roam the maps in "GTA Online," much like how players in the single-player mode of "Grand Theft Auto V" can do. According to iDigitalTimes, perennial "Grand Theft Auto" tipster MrBossFTW was the one who discovered the bug. Some missions such as Deathmatch and Last Man Standing, when called in, will sometimes fail to load. When this happens, players will be able to free-roam the area around Los Santos. However, the game functions such as the phone, weapons wheel, and the HUD map will also be inaccessible, and players can only steal cars and drive around.

The industry follower added that while the glitch restricts player choices to exploring the city, it also reportedly opens up some previously cordoned-off locations. Players can enter buildings not accessible in regular gameplay, such as the Fleeca banks and Tequila-La-La Bar.

Meanwhile, IBTimes added that MrBossFTW also discovered Easter eggs in the new DLC for "Grand Theft Auto Online." It seems that the Super Yacht that came out with the "Executives and Other Criminals" DLC also has secrets of its own. According to the industry follower, the hardcore "GTA" observer discovered that the ship's captain uses different dialogues based on the weather at that time. Each dialogue depends on what the situation is outside of the ship, and there is also an additional personal chat included.

Other secrets with the yacht include closest spawn points depending on the last mission completed, as well as not having to pay $25,000 every time the Super Yacht shifts its location.
