The PC version of "Grand Theft Auto V" has been released, and it is inevitable for fans, casual gamers and hardcore players alike to expect a modded version that allows cheating.

As with previous "Grand Theft Auto" titles, the new game allows cheat codes to be entered. Players need to open the game console with the tilde key, and then type in the codes. 

The different codes have diverse effects for the game, changing the gameplay, character, and even vehicles. For example, typing "catch me" will get characters to run faster, while "hothands" will add explosions to punch and kicks. For maximum health and armor, players must type "turtle," and to recharge the character's special ability, the cheat code is "power-up." To become invincible for five minutes, players must use the "pain-killer" cheat code. 

There are also numerous cheats that would change gameplay in the title. Typing "skyfall" will have the characters spawn in mid-air. Accompanying this cheat is the code "skydive," which would give players a parachute to use. In addition, for slow motion aim, the cheat code is "deadeye." Meanwhile, to have the weapons discharge flaming bullets, players must enter "incendiary" in the game console. 

Different vehicles can also be spawned in the game. For a classic BMX bicycle, players can type "bandit" in the console, and "buzzoff," without spaces, for a Buzzard, a small attack helicopter. For old-school crop-dusting, the cheat code is "barnstorm," which will spawn a fixed-wing stunt plane for the characters to use. 

The world in the "Grand Theft Auto V" can also be controlled through cheat codes. To change the current weather, enter "makeitrain" and cycle through different weather conditions, from sunny and clear to thundery scenery. For less gravity, the cheat code is "floater" and can be activated once a player enters a vehicle. There is also a cheat code that will allow sliding vehicles on the road via "snowday."
