'GTA V Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2' DLC update: Taking advantage of money glitch

"GTA" gamers have recently unearthed a money glitch in the "GTA V Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2" DLC despite developer Rockstar's efforts to quash such. Although this one can't bypass the 48-minute sell timer, it is still a lucrative way of getting stuff without shedding cash.

The magic is done by first having nine cars in a player's garage, the recommended garage being Unit 2 Popular St. One should be a duplicate car, preferably the Benefactor Panto. The gamer must then drive one of those cars out and blow it up with a grenade with the player still in it.

After respawning, they need to snip a car from the street and immediately phone Mors Mutual Insurance. While the window pop-up for the phone call is active, they must drive the stolen car to the garage door while holding down the accelerator and brake simultaneously. After that, they need to quickly press "X" for PS4 or "A" for the Xbox One after releasing the brake.

If successful, the insurance claim should run through and the stolen vehicle should be part of the player's garage, too. The gamer must then head to the job lobby and buy ammo and restock the grenades. They need to exit and go to the car that was detonated earlier and simply drive it back to the garage.

Tipster JayBobGamerZz details the rest of the more intricate process of the money-spinning glitch here.

According to the YouTube gamer, the money glitch also works on patches 1.27/ 1.25 apart from "GTA V Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2," which went live through update 1.28 for Xbox One and PS4. It isn't assured if it will work with last-gen consoles.

On the other hand, Rockstar is working on a new patch update for the PC version of the game in recognition of the complaints about the game having lower framerate ever since "GTA V Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2" was released.

"We have received reports of lower framerate in GTAV and GTA Online after Title Update 1.28 on PC, and we are looking into these reports now," the developer said. It might just be me, but amongst all the myriad and somewhat valid objections raised, including by Christians, to "Assisted Dying" (read "Doctors Killing Patients" or "Doctors Helping Patients to Kill Themselves"), I haven't really seen the most important, indeed the all-decisive, one.
