Rockstar Games Newswire

Rockstar Games continues to provide update to the legions of fans of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise, and now it has introduced a series of livestream updates straight from their development teams via the studio's official Twitch and YouTube Gamingchannels.

In its Oct. 9 broadcast, Rockstar Games showcased the new activities and missions that were introduced with "Grand Theft Auto V Online" Freemode events update. The new Freemode and Adversary modes were showcased to viewers while being completed by community guest players Gtamen, Typical Gamer, Casey from GTAGaming, and others.

Meanwhile, the second livestream weekend that was scheduled to air Oct. 11 has been indefinitely postponed by Rockstar Games. The broadcast was supposed to showcase Neon Indian, the band behind some of the music from the current "Grand Theft Auto V" title such as 'Change of Coast," which was also included in the official soundtrack compilation, "The Music of Grand Theft Auto V."

Although Rockstar Games still has to confirm the new date for the livestream, the new broadcast will still be about Neon Indian on their first Rockstar livestream appearance, showcasing some preview tracks from their new album, "Vega Intl. Night School."

The third livestream event is scheduled to happen next week, on Oct. 16. Rockstar Games will be celebrating the 10 anniversary of "The Warriors" adaptation and the "GTA Liberty City Stories" game title.

To celebrate, the studio will be having a Throwback Jobs livestream together with the legions of "Grand Theft Auto Online" players. Players who send in their "The Warriors"- or "Liberty City Stories"-inspired jobs with tags like #Warriors #TheWarriors #LibertyCityStories #GTALibertyCityStories #GTALCS or #LCS can get chosen to play live with community guests during the livestream event.

In other news, The Express reported that Rockstar Games that as fans keep on ramping up challenges and missions in the game with new fan updates, the development team is hard at work on their own official "GTA Online" updates. However, it was not clear whether the studio is working on additional DLC or a new story expansion for the different "Grand Theft Auto V" characters.
