'GTA V Online Heists' review: Bugs and connectivity issues still exist

There were high expectations for "Grand Theft Auto V: Online Heists" so it was not surprising that a lot of people raved about its release last March 10. And while "GTA V: Online Heists" did come out with more features such as new gameplay and daily missions which gives players a chance to earn rewards, the concern of most players is that bugs and connectivity issues still exist.

The bugs would not escape the eyes of gamers who immediately buckled down and tried the game. Though it was expected that much of the bugs may have already been fixed, it seems that new ones (some said to be minimal) were still around.

Much of the bugs were addressed but it seems that Rockstar Games focused on fixing the bugs that appear in newer consoles. That meant that old consoles such as the Xbox 360 have not gotten fixes yet or may get their bug fixes late.

Among the problems that players had reportedly encountered included inconsistencies when players had to climb. There were also reported deal-breaking bug issues that included loading maps with no weapons.

Another and perhaps a more important issue is that gamers had trouble connecting to the game servers. The old connectivity issue is still around. Server errors became a noticeable problem and Rockstar Games had to issue an apology for it. To date however, there is no definitive answer on when they could resolve these issues.

Moving on with the expected problems that "GTA V: Online Heists" has, folks who have yet to see the game can look forward to new features. That includes the new Adversary Modes and tips for Online Companion Content.

But be warned that missions will not be that easy. Hence, players who were used to playing the game alone may need to invite their friends or at least try to make new ones online.

Despite the buggy and server issues, gamers are hoping that Rockstar Games can do something about it and soon. An update had already been rolled out but it seems that the patch is not enough.
